Songs I despise

While reading a friend's blog I read some lyrics of a song I hate. It inspired me to write a blog about songs I hate. Actually its more of a list. Everybody makes lists of songs they like, but I'm making one of songs I despise (hence the title of the post). They are in no particular order. Please feel free to comment with songs you also despise.

Its My Party by Leslie Gore

I Can Only Imagine (I will have an angry mob outside for that one)

Angels Among Us by Alabama

I've Got Friends in Low Places (I don't know who its by. I'm sure some angry country fan will inform me)

That song from Titanic

You Had a Bad Day by Daniel Powers

Anything by Kenny Rogers

Anything by Josh Turner (I made my mom and sister angry with that one)

(I'm doing my best to restrain myself from listing too many country artist because I pretty much can't stand any of them)

Any of Toby Mac's TruDog songs

Country Gentleman by Family Force Five

I wish I could think of all the other ones but it is nearly 3am so this all I have at the moment

I can only imagine done by the Veggie Tales is a lot better version.

Garth Brooks sings I got friends in low places and I just lost a lot of respect for you because you placed that song on the list. It's a great song, especially the live version.

Well I agree with pretty much all of them, except It's my Party. That one I can stand. But the Tobmac CDs would be perfect if tru dog didn't make appearances. And "I Can Only Imagine" was way overrated and way overplayed. I used to like you had a Bad Day but I guess I got tired of it. I don't know some of the others very well though.

But you need to add one to the list:

Susie Q.

I didn't realize that Veggie Tales did I can only imagine I might be able to tolerate their version. I love Veggie Tales.

Bennett, while I was making this blog I said to myself, "I bet Bennett comments and says I should put Susie Q on here." You are too predictable. Susie Q is a great song as are most of CCR's.

My little cousin Brandon goes around singing You had a bad day. It makes me love him less.
