Farewell

Well, this is my farewell post. Before you use all of your puffs crying it is my farewell post before I leave for my mission trip to Paraguay. I will be leaving from Paulding at 8am tomorrow headed to Indianapolis to catch a plane to Miami then from Miami I will be flying to Asuncion, Paraguay (Asuncion is the capital of Paraguay in case you are a little rusty on your South American geography). I want you to know I was very hurt that the majority of you hate my hair, but partly out of spite and partly out of waiting too long I will not be cutting my hair before my trip. I wish I could give you a good idea of what we will be doing down there, but I don’t have a good picture in my own head of what we’ll be doing. But here are a few things we’ll be doing while we are in the nation of Paraguay:
VBS
Some Construction project (they haven’t told us what yet)
I will be preaching next Sunday through an interpreter

I have a whole suit case full of toothbrushes, toothpaste, and generic pepto bismal and other miscellaneous medical and dental supplies that I will be taking for the mission base. I know it will be hard for you, but I won’t have any way to contact any of you. I won’t have my laptop, cell phone or access to any computer. I will be getting back on the 25th of August and then the next morning I will be on my way back to Mount Vernon where I will get to see many of you guys again. Be praying especially for me for what will be my second sermon ever next Sunday. Also please pray for the entire group that is going that we will be able to minister to the Body of Christ in Paraguay and also to the lost.

My thoughts and prayers are with you right now as you allow God to work through you in Paraguay. I can not wait to hear a little bit about your trip when you get back to MVNU.

Be blessed by God's love.

I ran out of puffs on the day we parted ways back in may.

I can't wait to hear everything about this!
